I am a beginner, are your pilates classes good for me
My classes are mixed level and you will find those for beginners labeled as level 1. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, Pilates will be a great benefit to you. Listen to your body and rest when you need to. Progress gradually. And if you feel any sharp pain, stop the exercise and check your form.
What are the benefits of your Pilates classes?
Some of the benefits of Pilates include Increased your flexibility Increased strength in your muscles and bones Build strong stomach and back muscles Improve your posture Work on that body you always desired with me Here, you'll find Pilates classes of varying lengths and difficulty levels. You'll also find breath work classes to help you practice mindful breathing. This is good for improving concentration, managing blood pressure, stress levels, and staying energized! New classes will be added every month!
Do I need to purchase equipment?
I teach matwork Pilates and use mostly bodyweight. however, we will have classes where we will use a flexiband and a pilates ring as we go along. But for now, don't worry about it I suggest you have the following handy. A small cushion to support your head in some exercises or to help engage the muscles in your bum, and thighs. A small hand tennis towel - folded up . can be used to support your back or head in some positions. And a scarf to support some stretches. It is important to listen to your body. you must feel grounded and stable so you can work from your core. So listen out and look out for modifications to some exercises
